About the game
Project: Roller Coaster is a 2D roller coaster simulation game.
Unlike other roller coaster games, Project: Roller Coaster does not have a limited number of premade track pieces to build from. Instead, you create points along the track and twist it into any shape you like. Endless possibilities!
If you're really into roller coasters you'll be glad to know that the game supports all kinds of real-life roller coaster elements, including:
- Chain & Cable lift hills
- LSM & Hydraulic launches
- Holding Brakes & Vertical Drops
- Block Sectioned coasters
- Sandbox Mode for limitless building!
Why is it taking so long!?
The project began back in 2008 while I was studying at university. It began life in Clickteam's Multimedia Fusion software. The game has since be reprogrammed in C# using XNA. I now work full time and usually only find time to develop the game on weekends.
While the time I have to develop the game is limited, I'm still giving it my all. I will not release the game until I am completely satisfied with it.
The game is nearing completion, however I cannot currently give a release date.
